Our group fosters community, friendship, and organized play among its members and promotes the hobby, particularly organized play, throughout the Southwest.

The Phoenix Miniature Painting Open is AZ’s inaugural painting competition!

Judging will take place overnight and the morning of 8/22/26.
Pieces will be available for pickup by 8am Sunday 8/23/26.
AWARDS
The event has two categories: 1) Sci Fi miniature and 2) Fantasy miniature.
The judging team will choose one winner and one honorable mention for each category.

The Old World Tournament

3 rounds.
We will be using the latest FAQ, and the matched play guide as well both Grand Melee with combined arms restrictions. Every model must be on the appropriate sized base or an adaptor tray. Regular and Renegade Armies are allowed, 3rd party models, 3d prints and proxies are fine within reason. The Renegade Pack made by Square Based will be used for the legacy armies. Armies must be painted.
Army list must be submitted online 48 hours before the start of the tournament. Lists will be hidden until everyone has submitted there list.

Bring your best four squads and battle using the Premier Showdown Event Rules. This event will be Swiss with a Top Cut, using the AMG GT packet. The Top Cut is a seeded, single-elimination bracket. Saturday will feature four rounds of Swiss. Sunday will feature the Top 8 Cut.

FORMAT BASICS
Nemesis Format (rules) - Note: These rules can update before the tournament. Please keep an eye on the Warhammer Community Underworlds page prior to the event.
Players will compete in a best-of-three format. Players will be paired randomly for the first round, then based on tournament points for the following rounds.
A total of 150 minutes are allotted for each round. If players are not finished within the time limit, they must play to the end of their current round, after which the current game ends.
Best Coast Pairings will be used for pairings and score tracking.
When you complete your match, submit your results and glory points to the TO, or through the self-score function on BCP.
Attendees are expected to bring everything they need to play the game, including warband, decks, attack/defense dice, boards, and a full set of counters/tokens.
Decks MUST be sleeved in opaque card sleeves, and each deck must be sleeved in a different color.
Three distinct discard piles must be clearly separated and remain face-up during each game: one for power cards, one for scored objectives, and one for un-scored objectives.
Any rules updates posted to Warhammer Community on or before February 14th will be used. (https://www.warhammer-community.com/en-gb/downloads/warhammer-underworlds/) Including all errata, FAQ, forsaken (banned) cards lists, and anything else dated February 14th 2026 or earlier.
Warbands and decklists must be submitted. Either of the following are acceptable:
Print a physical text copy of your list, be sure to include your Name, Warband, and Rivals Decks pairing prominently on the print out.
Use recommended deck builder (https://www.underworldsdb.com/) to upload a list to the BCP app for review. Please include the UnderworldsDB link.
SCORING
Players will submit games won and total glory points scored for each match via the BCP app or directly to the TO.
Tournament Points will be the primary scoring metric.
